Auto-accident injuries are different from any other type of injury in many ways.

The San Diego Spine Research Institute published the Croft guidelines, which gave providers a standard for rehabbing their patients with auto-accident injuries.  I tell my patients about the Croft guidelines and what they mean to us.  Essentially, we want to use the guidelines as a measuring stick and a schedule for your recovery.  What I like most about the Croft guidelines is that they encourage your therapist to push for realistic goals at scheduled times.  So if we were to fall behind, we'll notice right away.

A succesful rehab from an auto-accient begins with a precise diagnosis and proper functional testing. On your first day with me after an auto-acccident, we will do a thourough exam, and most likely, some treatment that same day.

If you were injured in an auto-accident and need to be seen immediately, we will make our best effort to get you in today.
